The origin of the El Rey Del Mundo cigar brand in Cuba dates back to 1848 when the Spaniard Antonio Allones set up his own cigar business in Havana, Cuba. Four decades later, in 1882, he registered what would be known as a cigar of premium quality, under the name El Rey del Mundo (King of the World).
The El Rey Del Mundo cigar brand was met with immediate approval and soon thereafter the cigar factory itself was named after the brand, El Rey del Mundo Cigar Company.
This brand name is one of the most popular and coveted Habanos among discriminating cigar smokers. Completely handmade, this fine Havana cigar is now characterized by it's lighter body, subtle yet complex flavors, and always superb construction.
About Habanos Cigars
El Rey del Mundo cigars are a brand within the range of Habanos cigars. The Habanos Denomination of Origin certification is applied to all cigars in which 100 per cent of the tobacco used in the cigar has been grown in Cuba. Likewise, it is an essential requirement that all cigars manufactured in Cuba are subjected to numerous quality control checks, both during the agricultural and curing process, as well as during all stages of manufacturing in the cigar factory.

| Don't let the size fool you; this little stick has a ton of flavors! A hint of spice and cocoa, layered with vanilla and a creamy "twang" are blended beautifully. This is a great smoke for someone entering into the world of Cuban Cigars that wants something a little on the sweet side in a small package with layers of flavor. Also my choice when I want the same!! |

| I smoked this one right to the little-bitsy nub. That should tell you what i think about this fantastic cigar. The spiciness took me by surprise so early on, and it pleasantly peppered my lips throughout. Delightful! The flavour, while strong, didn't get out of hand. A superb long finish accompanies the end of this cigar. Wow. Highly Recommended. |
