Juan López Sena created this cigar brand in 1880. In 1908, it was transferred to his heirs, who sold it to the Sociedad C. Del Peso y Cía. in 1918.
The Juan Lopez cigars line is comprised exclusively of handmade cigars. These Hecho a mano Havana cigars are offered in a limited number of styles. Juan Lopez cigars are said to be one of the best handmade Havana cigars produced. Medium in flavour, this cigar is attractive to all Cuban cigar aficionados.
The Seleccion No. 1 was voted Havana cigar of the year in 1998 in France and Spain. Wonderfully balanced with an intrigueing complexity, with coffee and chocolate notes, a subtle underlying spiciness, and a smooth creamy toffee flavoured finish.
