| "Another must have..." |
Jun 29, 2010 |
| I've enjoyed a few of these now, and am now a few sticks into a box of these that I recently got from Mike and AbsoluteCigars. My new box has a June 2008 "EMA" box code, so they're already nice and balanced with two years of box age on them. These have a nice, free-flowing draw, and with a quite strong, medium-bodied flavour profile, with lots of cedar wood, nuts, and leather hints. Will age and store well. Really give a kick in the 2nd half. If you're a fan of other piramides, not just the Monte 2 either, then these are a great experience. They also tend to really give a kick in the 2nd half. |

| "Best Pyramide!" |
Jan 16, 2010 |
| IMHO, one of the best pyramides to come out of Cuba. The Diplomatico No. 2 cigar is a medium to full-bodied Cuban cigar that ranks up there with the Monte No. 2, as I see it. Full, complex and flavorful with flavors of wood and spice. Nice draw and even burn. A solid hour of pleasure. |

| "Poor construction, Good flavors" |
Feb 9, 2007 |
| Construction looked good but a third of the way through the smoke the wrapper started to come apart. Maybe just one bad roll. Flavors were good. |

| "Wow!" |

| This is a great cigar. My opinion better than the Monte #2. Good draw, great taste, very smooth. Would reccomend this to anyone. Nice dark choclate, woody flavor. Great finish. Not a fast smoke. Take your time and enjoy a good port with this. |

| "Classic Cuban" |
Jan 22, 2006 |
| This cigar will indeed age very well but it really doesn't need to. Super smooth, never hot or smokey. Flavorful and complex. Delivers that classic Cuban puros flavor with a welcomed dash of personality. Here's to my next box of No. 2's! |

| "Needs some age?" |

| Perfect contruction and pre lit aroma, but a bit lacking in flavour. Tried a March 05 box and was not impressed. Should live up to its reputation with age. Great cigar to age at a budget price. |

| "Most consistent Cuban!" |
Jun 3, 2005 |
| This is a beautiful cigar with excellent flavor. I find it to have the most consistant draw and burn of all the Cuban torpedos that I've tried. I've never needed a draw poker on one of these at all. Very good. |

| "Better than Monte?" |
Apr 21, 2005 |
| Many people refer to the Diplomatico No. 2 as the Montecristo No. 2's little sister/brother. I, for one, like it better. This cigar almost smoked itself, burning even and cool. It produced mouthfuls of rich, thick smoke. It was medium-bodied, with creamy coffee flavors and a tangy wood undertone. The finish was like chocolate. One of my all time favorite Cubans. |
