The Quintero Brevas cigar is a medium to full strength Cuban cigar in the Nacionales format. Augustin Quintero and his brothers got their start in tobacco in their hometown of Cienfuegos in the Las Villas province of Cuba in the 1920's. In 1940, they created this full-flavored machine-made brand which continues to this day.

Augustin Quintero and his brothers got their start in tobacco in their hometown of Cienfuegos in the Las Villas province of Cuba in the 1920's. In 1940, they created the full-flavoured Quintero cigars brand which in those early years was a handmade Cuban cigar and one of the top export brands of Cuban cigars, especially popular in the Spanish cigar market.
The Quintero cigar line continues today within the Habanos range of Cuban cigars.
Quintero cigars are made from tobaccos from Cuba's Vuelta Abajo region and manufactured in the El Rey del Mundo cigar factory. Today they are hand-finished Cuban cigars with 6 sizes, and three machine-made cigarillos: the Quintero Mini, the Quintero Club, and the Quintero Purito.
Quintero cigars are characterized as medium to strong flavoured with a classic Cuban cigar taste, smooth with subtle caramel and slight citrus and notes of spice.

The Habanos Denomination of Origin certification is applied to all cigars in which 100 per cent of the tobacco used in the cigar has been grown in Cuba.
