The Saint Luis Rey cigar brand was registered in Cuban in 1940 under the name Zamora y Guerra.
Saint Luis Rey cigars are hand made Habanos cigars, crafted by highly experienced cigar rollers with select tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo region in Cuba. On first look one notices their distictive oily, dark, and notably smooth wrapper leaves.
Production of Saint Luis Rey cigars is limited to just 60,000 cigars per year, so as to assure a standard of quality and that that this Habanos line remains among the very best Cuban cigars on the market.
These fine Havana cigars are characterized by superior construction, delivering a great draw with an intoxicating aroma and flavours of cedar, and notes of leather, with no harshness. Saint Luis Rey cigars are not particularily spicy, but do deliver a classic Cuban cigar flavor and aroma.
