Brand Profile

The original Punch cigars were created in 1840 by a Cuban cigar manufacturer named Manuel Lopez. In an effort to attract the British market, he named the cigar after Mr. Punch, the cantankerous half of the Punch and Judy puppet shows, which also inspired the name of the famous British humor magazine. Produced in Honduras for Villazon Company under the direction of a great Cuban cigar master, Frank Llaneza, Punch has been a leading premium brand ever since it was first imported from Honduras in 1969.

Punch cigars live up to the name with a bold, full-bodied taste that appeals to men who follow their own instincts as opposed to following the crowd. The cigar wrapper is a full-flavored leaf grown in Ecuador and the filler is a rich blend of Honduran, Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos.

Not a conventional cigar, and probably best not the first cigar for a new smoker to try, Punch cigars are the straightforward, no-nonsense cigar it would have taken to bring a smile to the otherwise curmudgeonly face of Mr. Punch himself.

A decent everyday smoke. Good value, excellent construction and draw with good amounts of smoke. A great cigar for the price.

I'm currently on my 6th box of Punch London Club cigars, and I'm about to order my 7th. These are absolutely A+ cigars.

This is s nice oily looking cigar with a deep, rich spicyness. A very bold and complex cigar with undernotes of a ceder that finish off creamy. A fantastic smoke for anyone!

Maybe I just got one that just wasn't aged right, but I did find just too plain. Don't get me wrong, it had some good to it, the rolling, the draw and the smoke was just the perfect amount. But I just found the taste too basic for me. Then again, I could just have had a bad one. Definately worth a second chance!

An excellent cigar for when you just wanna relax at home watching a movie or having a drink at a bar. Smooth, no unravelling of the wrapper, nice overall cigar at a great price!

I love these for an everyday smoke, whether out in the yard , after supper or just fishing. The draw is just about right. Tasty from the start, the London clubs build into a creamy full flavored somke for a little cigar. I feel that they deepen halfway through and a strong hazelnut component emerges. I will continue to buy these as everyday smokes.

I have only smoked a few of these. They all burned evenly. Overall a very tasty smoke and excellent value for the money.

This is a fine, even burning cigar with consistent strength down to two fingers. My experience is perhaps 2 out of 25 require "reaming" but they are overall well worth the price.

Very impressed, some reviews i've read are bad... But this is a good cigar... They don't always have to be huge... Great quick smoke, nice and spicey! Worth the price!!!!
