In 2007 My Father Cigars released the El Centurion cigar as a limited edition just in 3 sizes. At the time, only 850 boxes of the original sizes were made. This handcrafted cigar consists of all Nicaraguan Tobacco with the filler composed of Criollo, Corojo Habano, and Sancti Spiritus; together they give this classic a 3/4 to Full Body strength. The wrapper is a Sun Grown Criollo 98. The packaging is classic and stylish and come in boxes of 20 or as 5 packs.
For My Father Cigars it all began from a humble beginnings when Jose Pepin Garcia and family established a small cigar factory in Little Havana in 2003. Jose Pepin Garcia could not have imagined at that moment that his love and passion for handcrafted cigars would lead him to build one of the most recognized companies in the cigar industry, becoming synonymous with highly rated and distinguished cigar brands.
In 1950 Jose Pepin Garcia is born in Cuba. Just a few years later, when just 11 years of age he sat for the first time at a rolling table to roll his first cigar. Inspired by the spirit and tradition of a family that grew alongside with tobacco leaves. This is where Jose Pepin Garcia was born and raised.
"It is about a lifelong passion! It is not just about a cigar, it is a dream – the Garcia's dream!"
- Jose Pepin Garcia.
On August 29, 2009 one of the most memorable moments in the Garcia’s life was the opening of My Father Cigars in Nicaragua, also known as the Garcia Family Industrial Park. A seven-acre complex with an installed production process, which enables the tobacco to be harvested, packaged and shipped.

Janny Garcia, Pepin’s daughter is in charge of the My Father Cigars headquarters. With great team leadership comes a great team accomplishment, the largest international recognition was granted by the cigar industry when one of their signature cigars, the La Flor de las Antillas Toro was awarded the number one cigar in the world, Cigar of the Year for 2012, by Cigar Aficionado.
