Master Blender Daniel Núñez began development of the Cohiba Puro Dominicana in the 1990's. After nearly 30 years of growing tobacco in the Dominican Republic, Daniel began cultivating, curing and aging tobaccos of different seed varieties in multiple regions of the Dominican Republic, with an aim to develop his vision of perfect Dominican Puro cigar.

After nearly 10 years, and having created hundreds upon hundreds of test blends, he finally announced te release of the Cohiba Puro Dominicana which features his proprietary tobaccos that are carefully aged in tercios and charcoaled wooden barrels to enhance their natural flavor.

This new Cohiba is 100% Dominican and has been masterfully blended to create what we feel is the perfectly balanced Dominican cigar. The Cohiba Puro Dominicana has an ultra refined taste.  A deeply satisfying cihar, smooth and rich in flavor.  Bold, earthy and spicy with a rich texture and velvety smoke.
