How long have you guys been in business?
We have been online since 1998, making us one of the original, and longest running online cigar retailers.

Are you fully licensed and with a current tobacco permit?
Yes we are.  We have a valid and up to date OTP License and Tax Permit issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Taxation.  This may be verified at the VA Dept of Taxation website.

Can you ship cigars to my country?
Yes.  We ship to virtually every country in the world, on a regular basis.  There are a handful of exceptions, for obvious reasons.  But chances are yours is not one of them! 

Do you guarantee delivery?  Worldwide?

What happens if my cigars do not arrive, for whatever reason?
This is a very unlikely event, but if for any reason your cigars do not arrive at your door, we will either refund you in full or, if you choose, we'll replace the order, re-shipping the exact order at no additional cost to you. Simply stated: We guarantee delivery.

Is there a minimum order?
No. Note too that there's no maximum order either!

What about my privacy?
We do not share or grant access to customer data to any party or entity outside our company. See our Privacy Statement for a detailed summary of our privacy policies

What if I'm not satisfied with my order?
We have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you're not happy for any reason, please contact us by phone or e-mail.

What is your policy on returns?
You may return any cigars within 30 days, for any reason for full refund.  Further, we'll pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of an error on our part, such as you receiving damaged cigars or an incorrect item (a very rare occurance!).

What is the shipping time for cigars shipped overseas?
Delivery time is typically 7-10 business days. Depending on the destination, we have had deliveries arrive as quickly as 2 days, and as slow as 20 days.  These are typical delivery times, but please note that from time to time delays can and do happen.  But we guarantee delivery and we guarantee your full satisfaction.

How are the cigars packaged?  Will they be damaged en route?
First, just about all non-Cuban cigars are individually protected by a cello wrapper, inside a cigar box which is itself cello-wrapped.  For box order, we wrap the box to protect it then pack it securely into a sturdy cardboard shipping box.  The shipping box is sealed heavly with packing tape.  Loose cigars, 5 packs and samplers are placed into air-tight ziplock bags with a Boveda pack included, so as to maintain proper humidity.  These packs are good to go for weeks, and your cigars are guaranteed to arrive fresh and in perfect condition.  With thousands of shipments going out each year to all corners of the world, we virtually never have any issues with damage or quality.  But when we do, we have a very simple solution - we're happy to re-ship your order, on us.  No hassle, no debates, no problem.

What about taxes and duty?
Typically this is a non-issue, however there is always a possibility that your postal service may request that you pay some additional fees on your package prior to releasing it to you.
In the event that this occurs, you have two easy options:

  •  Of course you may simply pay the amount due.  This is your choice, and we do not cover these fees, or provide any refund if you pay the fees and receive your package.
  •  Or you have the option and the right to simply refuse delivery.  If you choose this option, simply give us a call or send us a quick email to let us know, and we refund you 100% of the purchase including, of course, the shipping charges.

With us, we absolutely guarantee delivery, or you simply don't pay. No questions, no discussion.  No matter what the reason for non-delivery may be.  Even if you choose to refuse delivery.
